This site is a testing ground for new ideas and digital innovations for ASCE's San Francisco Section. Concepts will be tested on this website and advanced to the full website (http://asce-sf.org/ ) after feedback from the participating beta testers. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to participate in this experiment.

Current Initiatives

  • Jobs Board - Comprehensive site for both employers looking for talented future employees and individuals to post their profiles and resumes looking for opportunities.
     
  • Google Drive for Non-Profit -  We are exploring enterprise capabilities of Google Non-Profit. This services provides access to the full G-Suite at no cost. G-Suite enables teams to collaborate, iterate, and innovate together, from anywhere, in real time, with our cloud-based productivity suite. Features for G Suite for Nonprofits includes:
    * Unlimited email addresses at your custom domain via Gmail;
    * Google Docs – create and edit grant proposals, meeting agendas, and more in real time from anywhere;
    * Keep schedules organized and appointments updated with Google Calendar;
    * Make sure everyone stays connected with a Google Meet video conference that can host up to 25 participants;
    * Access your Google Docs, Sheets, Forms, and Slides from any device, any time with 30GB of storage space per user across Gmail and Google Drive;
    * Use shared drives for additional storage; and
    * 24/7 support by phone, chat, and email in case you have any questions along the way
     
  • ASCE Society Voting Participation Summaries - Novel new member-engagement strategy to increase member participation in the ASCE Society annual voting process.  Results of member participation by Branch within the SF Section will be posted on the ASCE-SF.ORG website to show voter turnout-by Branch.  The aim of this effort is to show members the contribution they make in the elections process.  We are aiming for an 80% participation for all Branches within SF Section.  SF Section Branches include:
    • North Coast (135 voting members)
    • Redwood Empire (388 voting members)
    • Golden Gate (3398 voting members)
    • Fresno (476 voting members)
    • San Jose (1210 voting members)
