Job Summary
AGS, Inc. is a well-established engineering firm located in the heart of San Francisco. The majority of our projects are local infrastructure projects, including parks, pipelines, treatment plants, airports, buildings, shorelines, and more. We are seeking a motivated full-time Project Geotechnical Engineer.
Job Description
Project Geotechnical Engineer
Responsibilities include:
Field Investigations
Engineering Analyses
Seismic Analysis and Design
Soil-Structure Interaction
Liquefaction Analysis
Slope Stability
Writing Proposals
Report Preparation
Construction Document Review (RFI’s, submittals, plans and specifications)
Requirements:
1-10 Years of Work Experience in Geotechnical Engineering required.
Minimum of BS or MS Degree in Civil/Geotechnical Engineering.
Licensed California PE a plus
40-Hour OSHA, HAZWOPER, and Nuclear Gauge certifications also a plus.
Word, Excel, and graphics and analysis programs.
Ability to work well with others
Detailed-oriented, well organized, self-motivated
Willingness to travel to jobsites.
U.S. State Driver’s License
U.S. Citizenship or legal authorization to work in the U.S.
